약대 다닐때 셀프케어 / 카운셀링 클래스에서 배웠던 "안약 올바르게 넣는법"에 대해서 적어보려고해요.
안약 올바르게 넣는법 (How to properly apply eye drip)
- 환자는 안약을 넣기전에, 손을 물과 비누로 깨끗이 닦습니다. 컨텍트 렌즈를 착용하고 있으면 뺍니다.
- 고개를 살짝 뒤로 젓힌후, 시선을 위로 향합니다.
- 한손으로 눈 및을 살짝 아래+바깥쪽으로 당겨서 "pocket (주머니, 공간)"을 만들어줍니다.
- 다른 손으로 안약을 흔들어주고, 처방받은 만큼의 안약을 눈에 넣습니다 (안약이 나오는 tip (꼭지점)이 손이나 눈에 닿지않게끔 조심해야 합니다).
- 적어도 1분동안 눈을 감고, 손가락으로 tear duct (눈 안쪽에 눈물점)을 살짝 살짝 눌러줍니다 (이렇게 할 시에 안약이 눈에서 흡수하고, 코 쪽으로 빠지는걸 막아줍니다).
- 사용후, 다시 손을 깨끗이 닦습니다.
안약 넣는 팁
- 다른 종류의 약을 복용해야한다면, 각 안약 사이에 5분정도의 시간을 기다립니다.
- 아이들이나 어른들 중 안약을 넣는데 어려운 경우, 편한 소파나 침대에 누워서 안약을 넣어도 됩니다. 다른 가족이나 친구에게 안약을 넣어달라고 부탁해도 됩니다.
- 약 사용시 보관방법이나 보관 온도를 모르면, 뒷면의 설명서를 읽어보거나 의료진에게 물어봐도 됩니다.
- 액체류 안약과 연고식 안약을 사용하실 경우에는, 액체류 안약을 먼저 사용한후, 5분 이상이 경과한후 연고식 안약을 사용합니다.
- 손이 떨려서 안약을 넣는데 어려움을 겪을시엔, 안약을 넣을때 손이 얼굴에 지탱하거나 나머지 손가락으로 코를 짚으면 조금 더 손 떨림이 줄어들수 있습니다.
- 만약에 안약통 tip이 눈이나 손 등을 잘못해서 닿게되면, 깨끗한 티슈나 알코올패드 등으로 살짝 닦아줍니다.
- 안약 사용시엔 뚜껑을 꼭 닫아줍니다.
- 안약마다 하루 권장 사용횟수가 다른데, 의료진이 처방한대로 사용하시면 됩니다. 안약 중에서 latanoprost (Xalatan), bimatoprost (Lumigan), travoprost (Travatan Z) 같은 녹내장 (glaucoma) 및 고안압 치료제 경우에는 하루에 한번 저녁 시간에 복용합니다.
